INGREDIENTS:
- 500 grams potatoes.
- 500 grams wheat flour.
- 50ml ghee or oil.
- 5gms carom seeds
- Salt
- Sufficient water.
- Oil for frying
samosas . - 5gms cumin seeds.
- 5gms turmeric powder.
- 10gms green
chillies . - 10gms ginger.
- 3gms red
chilli powder. - 10gms garlic.
- 1 lime.
- 10gms coriander leaves.
- Salt.
- 100gms green peas.
- 10gms chat masala powder.
- 5gms fennel seeds.
- 5gms garam masala.
- 25gms cashew nuts
RECIPE:
- Firstly, cook the potatoes until soft.
- Then peel off and mash.
- Chop green chillies, garlic, ginger and coriander leaves.
- Now mix all the ingredients for the dough and rub thoroughly.
- Sprinkle water when you need..
to make a hard dough. - Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
- Now make the dough into round balls.
- Heat the ghee and add cumin and then add garlic and saute.
- Now add the remaining ingredients excluding the last four and saute for 5 minutes.
- Now mix it well, including potatoes.
- Then roll each round ball into a thin oval shape and cut it into 2 semi-circles.
- Now take a semi-circle and apply water on the straight edge of the semi-circle.
- Hold it in your hand and fold the edge, bringing together the watered edges.
- And seal the watered edges into a triangular pocket.
- Now stuff the potato mixture and seal the upper edges.
- Repeat it with rest of all round balls.
- Now deep fry in oil till golden brown.
- Your Aloo Samosa is ready to eat...
- Serve it with tamarind chutney or tomato ketchup.
