How to make the best fast food- Pav Bhaji...Pav bhaji is one of the best fast foods which tastes delicious and flavorful.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 potatoes
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 3/4 cup chopped cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrot
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup capsicum
  • 1.5 teaspoons red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin- coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon ready-made Pav bhaji masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 8 Pav buns...

RECIPE:

  1. Take all the vegetables as per the ingredients.
  2. Cut it into small pieces after washing thoroughly.
  3. Now transfer chopped potatoes, cauliflower, carrot and green peas into a 2-3 liter capacity pressure cooker.
  4. Then add 1/2cup water and salt to taste.
  5. Now close the pressure cooker with a lid and cook over medium flame for 2-3 whistles.
  6. Turn off the flame and open the lid after pressure releases [it takes 5-8 minutes].
  7. Now mash the boiled vegetables gently with a potato masher.
  8. Heat 2 tbsp butter and oil together in a pan.
  9. Add chopped onions and ginger-garlic paste to it.
  10. Saute it and then add chopped capsicum, chopped tomato and salt.
  11. Saute until tomatoes and capsicum turns soft.
  12. Then add 1.5 teaspoon red chili powder, 1/4teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon cumin-coriander powder and 1 teaspoon ready-made Pav bhaji masala powder.
  13. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  14. Add 3/4 cup water, mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  15. Now add boiled and mashed vegetables and 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
  16. Mix it well and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  17. Turn off the flame and mix it by adding coriander leaves.
  18. Cut the Pav buns horizontally into halves.
  19. Heat tava over medium flame, add butter and place Pav buns.
  20. Fry for 30-40 seconds and transfer it to a plate.
  21. And transfer prepared bhaji to a serving bowl and garnish it.
  22. Your Pav bhaji is ready...
  23. ENJOY EATING IT!
