INGREDIENTS:
- 1 to 1 1/2 tbsp oil
- Salt
- 1 to 1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/8 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 to 1 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- 1 1/4 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 6 tbsps greek yogurt
- 200 grams paneer
- 1 large onion
- 1 red capsicum
- 1 green capsicum
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 to 1 1/4 tbsp gram flour
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp carom seeds
RECIPE:
- Firstly, we need hung curd.
- Take a bowl, add curd, red chili powder, turmeric, salt, coriander powder, garam masala and chaat masala.
- Then add ginger garlic paste, Kasuri Methi, ajwain and besan [ For restaurant style: On a low flame, roast the besan in oil until fragrant and then cool it. ]
- Add oil and mix it well. The marinade must be thick.
- Now, add capsicum and onions. Coat them well with marinade.
- Then add paneer and gently coat them.
- Keep it in the fridge for an hour.
- Now, begin to thread them on skewers.
- If making on tawa, heat a tawa with 1 tbsp oil. And when it turns hot, place the skewers in the center and grill them on medium heat.
- And turn them around to grill evenly until they turn golden.
- Finally your Paneer Tikka is ready to eat.
- Serve them hot with onion, lemon wedges and mint chutney.
