How to make Veg Momos at home in man easy method... popular Tibetan recipe of vegetable momos

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/2 cup Maida
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • water
  • Oil
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 2 chilli
  • 4 tbsp spring onion
  • 1 cup carrot
  • 2 cup cabbage
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

RECIPE:

  1. Firstly, prepare stuffing by heating 3 tsp oil and saute 3 clove garlic, 1 inch ginger and 2 chili.
  2. Then, add 2 tbsp spring onion and saute on high flame.
  3. Then, add 1 cup carrot and 2 cup cabbage.
  4. Fry it on high flame.
  5. Now add 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp salt and spring onion.
  6. Now your stuffing mixture is ready.
  7. Further, pinch a small ball sized momos dough and flatten those.
  8. Now, dust it with some maida and start rolling using a rolling pin.
  9. Roll to almost medium thin circle [ around 4-5 inch in diameter ]
  10. Make sure you roll from the sides and keep the Centre slightly thicker.
  11. Now, place a heaped tbsp of prepared stuffing in centre.
  12. Start pleating the edges slowly and gather everything.
  13. Press in middle and seal the momos forming a bundle.
  14. Heat a steamer and arrange the momos in the tray without touching each other.
  15. Now, steam momos for 10-12 minutes or till shiny sheen appears over it.
  16. Your veg momos are ready to eat.
  17. ENJOY MAKING AND EATING IT!
