Here are the ingredients and the recipe of the best breakfast food item- Indian food- paper dosa. Everyone likes to eat dosa as breakfast, but they think that the taste of home dosa won't be as hotel dosa. So here is the best and easy of making Breakfast - Tasty paper dosa at your home itself.

INGREDIENTS TO PREPARE PAPER DOSA:
  • Rice- 1.5cups
  • Urad dal-1/2 cup
  • Chana dal- 1tablespoon
  • Methi seeds- 1/4 teaspoon
  • Thick Poha-1/4cup
  • Lentils
  • Rava- 3 tablespoons
  • Salt- 1 teaspoon
  • Oil/ghee

   
      RECIPE:
  • Take 1.5cups of regular rice in a bowl. 
  • Rinse it a couple of times and then soak it in the same bowl in 1cup of water.
  • Take 1/2cup of urad dal, 1tablespoon Chana dal in a bowl.
  • Then take 1/4teaspoon Methi seeds in another bowl.
  • Same as before, rinse it a couple of times and then soak in 1cup of water for 4-5hours separately.
  • Take 1/4 cup thick Poha [also known as rice flatter] in a small bowl.
  • Rinse Poha once or twice with water and add it in the rice bowl.
  • Now mix it and then cover and soak it for4-5hours
  • After 4-5hours, add the lentils along with the soaked water in a grinder jar [use as  much amount of water needed]
  • And also grind the urad dalChana dal and Methi seeds till it becomes a soft paste and remove the batter in a large bowl.
  • Now strain  the rice well and drain the water.
  • Then grind the soaked rice in the grinder jar until it becomes soft.
  • Now pour the rice+poha batter in the bowl containing urad dal batter and mix it for some time till it combines.
  • Add 3 tablespoons of Rava, 1 teaspoon of salt to it and mix.
  • Now cover it and keep it aside for 8-9hours.
  • Then take the batter and stir it lightly before you make a dosa.
  • Now heat a non stick pan by keeping a low or medium flame and spread 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon oil/ghee over the pan if it is a thick bottomed cast iron griddle.
  • Now spread the batter in the middle/center of the pan on a low flame, then begin to spread the batter in round circles [thin dosa]
  • On a low to medium flame, begin to cook [let the top side get cooked] then drizzle and spread some oil it a spoon on the dosa.
  • Keep cooking till the base becomes golden.
  • Now with a spatula fold the crisp paper dosa..
  • The paper dosa is now ready to eat.
