INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp peanuts
- 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 7-8 nos curry leaves
- 1 nos onion, chopped
- 11 nos cashew nuts
- 1/4 cup carrot
- 1/4 cup beans
- 1/4 cup peas
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 nos green chili
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 cup vermicelli
- 1 cup water
RECIPE:
- Take a pan.
- Heat oil in the pan.
- Now add Mustard seeds, cumin seeds, peanuts, sesame seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and cashew nuts.
- Then saute them for some time.
- Now add onion and mix it well.
- Then add chopped carrot, beans, ginger and green chili.
- Now mix it well.
- Add salt, turmeric powder and mix it well until it becomes yellowish color.
- Now pour vermicelli in the pan.
- Stir it slowly by adding water.
- Then cover the pan for some time on a medium flame.
- Now check whether the water have been evaporated.
- If the water has evaporated, your Semiya Upma is ready...
